GonoGobeshana o Unnayan Foundation (GoUF) is a non profit organization of Bangladesh. Its mission is to uplift the socio-economic status of the poor in Bangladesh. In order to address catastrophic consequences like sidr, flood GoUF comes forward always. Some other activities in developing countries like information and educational in rural area are also initiated by GoUF.

GonoGobeshana Approach research [Participatory Planning Research] to explore participatory development. GoUF believes- people’s participation at the grassroots will create foundation for village democracy as a basic stepping stone for blossoming democracy at the national level. Such a process will be slow but steady to pave the sustainable way of democracy in the long run. Effective interaction between conscientized citizens and responsive duty bearers in the state agencies and in the market forces will make things different. Majority poor will feel empowered through a process of blending their own internal experience with external information in generating new knowledge for change. ICT will be playing an increased role in the change process as value addition to ongoing GonoGobeshana/participatory people’s research.

Due to various natural disasters over the last few years have destroyed many small local initiatives in the coastal area like Jessore, Borghuna, Satkhira, Khulna, Potuakhali, Cox's bazar and GoUF drives for realizing positive development.
